A mix compilation, produced by Adrian Sherwood and engineered by Nick Coplowe, of re-sequenced back-catalogue tracks, overlaid with additional samples and other snippets from the On-U Sound archive. The tracks featured are often segued or parts of different original versions spliced together - the track listing above reflecting what is actually heard rather than exactly the track list given on the sleeve. In conjunction with the mixing of this release, Doug Wimbish was involved in the adding of some new bass parts. The splitting of the featured tracks into two sections in the listing above is only for ease of readability purposes.
